Kambô is a purification ritual using the venomous secretions from the Phyllomedusa Bicolor frog known as the giant leaf frog found throughout the Amazon Rainforest Basin in Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela and the Guianas.

Acate (Ah.caught.tay) is the word used to call the spirit of this medicine.
